The Supreme Prosecutors' Office of the Republic of Korea (검찰청) is a division
of the Ministry of Justice that serves as a national representative for
prosecutors throughout South Korea. Founded in 1948, the SPO consists of three
levels of government prosecutors - the Supreme Prosecutors' Office, the High
Prosecutors' Office, and the District
Prosecutors' Office.
