Thanks to Mr. Kariyasu here is the flag of the town of Asahi.

The town emblem was adopted on Oct 17th 1964 but there is no flag law. The purple flag has a white town emblem in the center. The town emblem is three(San) stylized katakana アA of Asahi. The outer circle symbolizes the sun. It represents the town which makes a leap forward.
