Kaba is a town in eastern Hungary, in Püspökladány district of Hajdú-Bihar county.
Kaba is a settlement from the árpád era. It is first mentioned in the Várad regestrum in connection with the names of Kabai Cseke and Mád,
the first document concerning the village is from 1355, known from the donation letter of King Louis the Great.
The village was a village until World War II, after 1971 a joint council was formed, which operated together with the Tetétlen settlement until 1990,
then in 1990 Kaba became a large village (municipality), and after all this on July 1, 2003 it was declared a city.
It should be mentioned as an interesting fact that on April 15, 1857, a meteorite fell on the outskirts of Kaba,
which was notable for the fact that organic materials were found in it.

The coat of arms of Kaba is green shield with an armored silver right arm holding a golden sabre in the center of the shield.
There are three six-pointed golden stars around the arm. Under the arm, three golden ears of corn depicted, each showing eight ears,
and a silver plowshare with its tip upwards and its edge to the left.
The green of the shield symbolizes the life that has flourished in this region since ancient times, the richness of the farmland,
and the diligence and perseverance of the people living and farming on it. The armored hand, gripping a sword,
reminds us that in Turkish times the settlement belonged to the Principality of Transylvania, at that time it was also called Vajdakaba.
The ears of wheat are symbols of rebirth, abundance and the life that comes from it, and the plow was one of the four sacred objects given to the Scythians by God,
falling from the sky, and in the eyes of the farmer it is still a sacred object, the main tool for the production of "life" (grain).
At the same time, it expresses cognition and knowledge - this is how the Kabai Codex from 1702 is referred to - and is also a symbol of virtue, purity and honor.
The hexagram - a symmetrical combination of two equilateral triangles that form a six-pointed star - has been a visual representation of the opposing,
yet harmonious unity of substances formed in the bipolar opposition that has existed in human thought since ancient times (positive-negative,
active-passive, life-death, female principle - male principle, etc.), the law of the struggle and unity of opposites, and represents the past,
present, and future of the settlement in its entirety. This motif is emphasized in the coat of arms of Kaba so much so that if we mentally connect the four hexagrams,
we get a Latin cross ending in stars, placing the entire symbolism of the coat of arms in an eschatological perspective.
