The Metropolitan Borough of Oldham was created in 1974. Since 1986 it is
unitary authority, as the Greater Manchester Metropolitan County, where it
belong in that time, was dissolved. MBO now is known as Oldham Council.
The borough has a flag, which is a banner of arms. It was sent to me by the
local administration.
