This flag was approved march 29th, 1996. The colors of the flag are taken from the main colors of the CoA.

Erroneous Depiction

The illustration of the flag of Ibias at FOTW has a blue shade B--. I talked to Eduardo Panizo, the flag's designer, and he says blue shade should be B ( Pantone 286, to be exact). The mistake is due to the fact that Eduardo uses lighter colors when drawing digitally, because he looks at the results when printing, rather than on the screen.
