Biescas is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It has 1,463 inhabitants on 18,909 ha.

Description

Municipality of Biescas in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols, adopted by Ayuntamiento on 10.06.1997, after authorization by the Government of Aragon.

• Coat of arms:
  A rectangular shield with a circular base, bearing a red square tower, gold, masoned black and devoid of the field, surmounted by a descended and waving silver chevron, and accompanied in the chief corners by two standards, each with three fringes, checkered green and silver in five rows by five rows, outlined in gold and hanging from three rings of the same metal. The crest is an open Royal Crown.
• Flag:
  A 2/3 aspect ratio cloth, formed by three horizontal stripes, the outer ones green, and the central one red, the latter being twice as wide and with a yellow turret in its center, with the door and the red loopholes.
