Benabarre is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It has 1,142 inhabitants on 15,714 ha.

Description

Municipality of Benabarre in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols, adopted by the Ayuntamiento after authorization by the Government of Aragon on 09.09.2008.

  • Coat of arms:
    A rectangular shield with a rounded base. Azure, an escutcheon with the Royal Arms of Aragon supported by a silver castle and surmounted by another of the same, supported by two gold lions; in the chief corners, two gold fleurs-de-lis. The crest is an open Royal Crown.
  • Flag:
    Cloth of proportions 2:3, width to length; divided in two, the first or hoist side, the colors or bars of the Royal Arms of Aragon; the second, the fly side, blue, in which are shown separately and diagonally, a fleur-de-lis, yellow; a castle, white; and a rampant lion, yellow.
