Municipality of Barbastro in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols, but I didn't find official documents about their adoption, nor official description. It seems that the symbols are used on the base of the municipal Reglament "El Reglamento de Protocolo y Ceremonial y Honores y Distinciones del Ayuntamiento de Barbastro establece, en su artículo 2.1., que la bandera municipal es «de tafetán blanco con la cruz de Borgoña y en los cabos de ésta los escudos de Barbastro en similar disposición a los de la coronela”.

However, municipal symbols are in use as can be seen on photos in its Facebook page: photo (2025), photo (2025), photo (2025).
The flag is based on the flag of the Barbastro Regiment of Spanish Army from 1808 (photo on wikipedia), and the coat of arms must be of earlier date.

The arms show the likeness of a full-bearded man (caboshed). So, maybe canting arms, given that "_barba_" is Castillian for "beard"?
