Altorricón is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It has 1,504 inhabitants on 3,200 ha.

Description

Municipality of Altorricón in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols. The Government of Aragon authorize the Ayuntamiento de Altorricon to adopt a coat of arms and a flag on 30.11.2004.

  • Coat of arms:
    A rectangular shield with a rounded base, bearing a green field with a gold tower, truncated with four crenellations, masoned in black, charged with an escutcheon bearing the Royal Arms of Aragon and flanked by four silver bezants, placed vertically, two on each side. The crest is an open Royal Crown.
  • Flag:
    Red cloth in a 2:3 proportion, with yellow upper and lower fringes and in the middle of the staff five green bars inscribed in a theoretical lozenge square; the central bar charged with a yellow tower, masoned in black with an escutcheon bearing the Royal Arms of Aragon.
