Alfántega is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It has 125 inhabitants on 883 ha.

Description

Municipality of Alfántega in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols. The Government of Aragon authorize the Ayuntamiento de Alfántega to adopt a coat of arms and a flag on 06.10.2006.

  • Coat of arms:
    A rectangular shield with a rounded base. Or, a depressed and wavy azure field, with a silver scorpion in pale, and two Maltese crosses of the same in the chief cantons; in base, four waves of azure and argent. The crest is a closed Royal Crown.
  • Flag:
    Cloth in proportions 2/3, width to length, divided longitudinally from the upper corner of the hoist to the lower corner of the leaf; the triangle at the hoist is yellow with a white scorpion in an oblique position and the triangle at the leaf is blue with a Maltese cross.
