Presentation of Albelda

Albelda is a municipality located in the province of Huesca, Aragon, Spain. It has 728 inhabitants on 5,190 ha.

Description

Municipality of Albelda in the Province of Huesca, Aragon, has its own symbols. The Diputacion General de Aragon authorize the Ayuntamiento de Albelda to adopt a coat of arms and a flag on 17.12.1984.

• Coat of arms:
  The first quarter is gold, with four red bars; the second quarter is silver, with a green olive branch; and as supporters, two rampant lions. The crest is a closed royal crown.
• Flag:
  It will consist of a white and blue checkered pattern, charged with the local coat of arms.
