The municipality of Gor (797 inhabitants in 2014; 18,103 ha) is located 90 km north-east of Granada.

The flag of Gor (photo) is quartered yellow-red per saltire, with the municipal coat of arms in hte center.
The coat of arms is "Quarterly, 1. and 2. Gules a castle or masoned sable port and windows azure, 3. and 4. Argent a lion gules crowned or. The shield surmounted by a Royal crown closed."
The arms are a variation of the arms of Castile and León, with two quarters swapped. The arms are a direct reference to Sancho of Castile - but not his proper arms -, grand nephew of King Peter I and private tutor of Prince John, who was granted the domain of Gor in 1494 by the Catholic Monarchs

The municipality also uses a vertical version of the flag (photo), with the coat of arms properly rotated and the yellow writing "EX [...) AYUNTAMIENTO DE GOR" in an arched pattern above the arms.
