I've located this depiction of
Egyptian flag proposals from the 1952 coup which ousted the king. The designs
clearly combine the flag of the monarchy with the post coup tricolour, variously
adapted in the ensuing years. Of particular interest I think, are the designs
with, it seems, pyramids and the one on the bottom right corner which looks like
the River Nile, with its delta at the hoist. If you can get the Arabic text
translated it would be good to know what the descriptions say.

That is the headline of a paper, posted by Jason Saber, displaying 7 flags
and an airforce roundel. As we have not yet succeeded with the texts, presenting
the images might be a start. The ratio of all flags is unusual, more or less
11:25.

Red over white over black horizontal tricolour. At the hoist nearly half of the sheet is green displaying the crescent with stars at the bottom but only the crescent rotated 90° anticlockwise. The stars remain with one point pointing to the top. Above the ensemble are three white triangles ordered horizontally and touching one another at their bases. They are probably representing the pyramids of Giza.
