Since 28 February 2002 exists Imperial Logistics International Group
Duisburg, being part of Imperial Holding Ltd. (Edenvale/South Africa) with
branches in France, Belgium, Holland, Luxemburg and Germany (not in Hamburg,
nearest branch in Hannover).
On the above website there is a logo, similar to that one of the plates
at the boards of companies ships. It is depicted as an animated flying
colour. The ships of that company, I watched in Hamburg, all used the Haniel-flag
and plates on port and starboard. So I have never seen a real flag of Imperial.
What I can give is a reconstruction of the image on companies website.
Description: It is a white flag with two greenish blue parallelogramms
at the hoist, superimposed by a blue serifed italic capital "I", which
is superimposed by a white triangle or broad arrowhead pointing to the
top. In the fly end is an italic inscription: "Imperial Reederei Gruppe".
"Imperial" is in the 1st line, blue and has a serifed initial letter, "Reederei"
is in the 2nd line and green, "Gruppe" is in the 3rd line, green and has
half height comparing to the other ones. This pattern is more or less the
same like that of the plates in use.

Here
is a photo showing flag-bearing employees taking part in a sports event
– the team is about to run 5 km at Mülheim. Strictly speaking this is Imperial
Logistics International so no "Reederei" in sight.
Things look better on `Timaja'
(photo rights belonging to "McRonalds"), photo clickable. Here is a live
Imperial as well, shipping version this time.
See also this
page of the Bremen inland shippers' association ("Schifferverein")
showing a rendition of their "Schiffermast", including Imperial's shipping
division.

Only ‘Imperial’ visible, in other words no shipping slant but
it shows the pattern.
