Shield Or, a linden leaf Vert, superimposed by a sword Argent in bend.
Meaning:
The charges are reminding on a Medieval court of justice. The sessions took place under a linden tree, which was cut in 1941 due its bad condition. The sword was an instrument of execution of the people, being sentenced to death.

Shield Argent a cross patty Sable, mantled Azure, at dexter charged with an ammonite Or, at sinister with a watermill's wheel Or.
Meaning:
The ammonite is alluding to the limestone quarries on the edge of the Elm Mountains, the millwheel to the watermill's alongside the Wabe Creek. The black cross is alluding to a former commandery of the Teutonic Order in Lucklum.
