Shield Or semy of 15 starlets Sable; issuant from a triplemount Gules a lion Sable, crowned, armed and tongued Gules, holding a cat ladder Gules in pale with three rungs in his forepaws.
Meaning:
The starlets are representing the 15 villages, existing when the municipality was established. The lion is taken from the arms of the Eulenberg kin, the cat ladder from those of the Von Bredow kin. Lion and mountain together (German: Löwenberg) are canting.
