Shield Argent, on a triplemount Vert issuant a hazel bush Vert with six leaves and fruit.
Meaning:
The first city seal with prints from 1342, displayed the canting hazel bush with five leaves. The pattern changed slightly relating to the number of leaves and fruit, the latter sometimes were golden. The triplemount remained unchanged, probably symbolising the location in the Kinzig Valley between the mountains of the Black Forest (Schwarzwald). The city was called simply Haslach until 1962.
