Settlers, Rails & Trails Inc., Argyle Manitoba
It was designed by myself, Shayne Campbell for the festivities two years
ago.
"The 100 in the centre of the flag shows the centenary anniversary
our village was celebrating, with the "1" extending around in an oval shape,
suggesting a sense of protection and community. The green colour was used to
show growth as our village and area has physically grown over the years, but
also that we are an agricultural based economy. Argyle celebrated its
centennial 100 years after the arrival of the Canadian Northern Railway,
which surveyed the village and placed a railway station here in 1912."
