Description of the flag

The flag of the village of Donnelly, Alberta has the themes of recreation (hockey stick, baseball bat and paddle), education (open book and writing quill), nature (pine tree) and agriculture (grain elevator and blades of wheat). Donnelly (population: 337) is located 5 km east of Falher in NW Alberta. The date, 1912, on a white cross represents the year of the founding of the Catholic Mission of St-Jean Baptiste de Falher.
