Town council Dangriga, district Stann Creek.
Fred Drews, 12 August 2014
Dangriga Town Council changed its flag. It is now a horizontal triband, where
the central white band is wider with council emblem in the center. The upper
stripe is black, and the lower stripe is deep yellow.

The Dangriga flag is very likely inspired by the common Garifuna flag (equal horizontal tricolor of yellow-white-black).

The Dangriga Town Council seal has a turquoise border. At the top of its border it reads "DANGRIGA TOWN COUNCIL"; at the bottom "Belize C.A." In the inner part of the seal, two palm trees representative of its environment flank what appears to be the council building. To the left, a yellow angelfish and to the right, what appear to be two grapefruit, symbols of its marine fauna and environment. Above the council building, a white seagull flies. Under the council building, six people are seen in black, with the legend "THE BUSINESS OF THE COUNCIL IS THE PEOPLE'S BUSINESS" under it.
