Description of the flag

Abbey Yacht Club. Est: 1965. Location: Geneva Lake, WI.
Burgee. Swallowtail 2:4 and 2:2 to crutch. Lower half forms a blue isosceles triangle. Larger upper half, white field superimposed by two crossed anchors (centred 1.3 units from hoist) and a blue triangle (in lower hoist, base 1.0 unit) superimposed by a white lower case letter 'a'.

"In 1962 . . . Twenty acres of swamp land were dredged to form the Abbey Harbor and Abbey Hotel. ... The marina was opened to boaters in 1963. The Yacht Club was formed in 1965. In 1995 the marina was converted to a Dockominium, ... The club in 2014 merged with the Abbey Harbor Yacht Club [established in 1994] which operated the West End Bar. ... the two clubs ... now operating under the one flag ... "
