Description of the flag

Brandermill is an unincorporated community and a census-designated place located in Chesterfield County on the eastern side of the Swift Creek Reservoir. It was first approved by the county commission in 1974 and construction started in 1975. It was named "The Best Planned Community in America" in 1977 by Better Homes and Gardens and the National Association of Home Builders. It was also the first planned community in Chesterfield County.

The flag is a white field with the community in the center, showing the compass and fleur-de-lis logo along with the community name. The logo is shared with the neighboring Woodlake community across the Swift Creek Reservoir.
