Description of the flag

The flag is a white field with a thin green border. In the center is the township name with a more modernized version of the township seal to the top left corner. Under the name is the township's establishment sate which is 1838.

The seal is made of a white ring with double outlines on both sides. Inside the ring the township name is inscribed on it. In the center is an illustration of the Quincy Engine. Under the engine is an upside down trapezoid with the name of the engine on it with its creation date underneath it.
