Description

Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company & Affiliated Companies (called simply "Nationwide") is an insurance and financial services conglomeration that was originally formed in 1926 and is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. The company specializes in home, auto, and life insurance, and over the years has become increasingly involved in sports sponsorships.

Nationwide is one of the few corporate entities that I'm aware of that regularly features their flag in advertising campaigns. Each of Nationwide's television commercials ends with a lingering shot of the corporate flag flying in the breeze. For that reason, documenting the design of the flag is fairly easy. The Nationwide corporate flag features the company's capital N and flying eagle logo in white on a light blue field. The logo was adopted in September 2014.
