The Gonfalon

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"The modern gonfalon of Khodorov: a rectangular canvas with a ratio of the sides: 1:1. In a white field there is a dark blue circle with a yellow letter "X" in it. In a top and in bottom the gonfalon has a dark blue edging. A diameter of a circle is 2/5 of a width of the gonfalon, a width of an edging is 1/10 of width of the gonfalon."
Phil Nelson, 7 July 1999

The letter is a cyrillic "Q", spelt "kh" in the usual english transcription; it looks just like a latin "X". It is, naturally, the inicial of the toponym "Khodoriv".
Antonio Martins, 8 July 1999
