At globalflag.idv.tw (scroll down), a variant of this, with the logo offset to the edge of the flag (partly falling outside the flag area, in a trendy fashion…) and the "I" of "Taipei" replaced by a smaller duplication of the green part of the logo.

The municipality adopted a new seal, and a new flag on Sept. 20, 1996, but not approved by the city council. Therefore, the municipality named them as the "Seal/Flag of Taipei City Government."

Some people, however, ignored that the first "I" was replaced by the green column and misunderstood the spelling of "TAIPEI" was wrong.
Thus, the municipality decided to revise the seal and the flag on June 14, 2002. There is a variant of the city's flag is flown on some public occasions, although it's not instituted officially.

According to Globalflag, Edward-Lee.com and Wikipedia, light blue and white stripped flag (16 stripes) with emblem in the center. This emblem, quite different from the colorful logo at Wikipedia images, shows a stylized "北" (běi) from the city name, red on a white five-petal flower (an azalea?) white outline with red orle. Ratio: 2:3.
