Presidency of State Security

The Presidency of State Security is a Saudi Arabian security body created in 2017 by combining the counterterrorism and domestic intelligence services under one roof. The new body will be concerned with all matters related to state security, and will be overseen by the king. The new state security agency is headed by intelligence chief, who holds the rank of a minister.

Its flag is white with emblem is placed in the middle of the flag. The emblem consists of the state emblem and a red scroll under it with Arabic name of Presidency.

Special Security Force

The Special Security Forces concerns with combating terrorist operations in all its forms, intervening in armed riots and protecting VIPs. It also works to provide air protection for the fleet of Saudi Arabian Airlines. The Special Security Forces operate under the Presidency of State Security.

Its flag is blue with national flag in the canton, and with emblem placed on a white disc in the fly.

Special Emergency Force

The Special Emergency Force is a special operations counter-terrorism unit of the Presidency of State Security. It was established in 1972; its main job was to control riots and demonstration alongside assisting other police forces in combating drug trafficking and criminals.

Its flag is white with its emblem placed in the middle of the flag on a blue disc. It consists of state emblem flanked by green palm leaves, Saudi crown is placed on top, and a red scroll with its Arabic name placed underneath.
