Coat of arms

Shield Sable with base wavy of Argent and Vert, an eradicated tree Or leaved Argent, not specified within blazon but obviously an ash, flanked by an orb Or at dexter and a corn cob Or leaved Argent at sinister. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "ÁRVORE".
Meaning:
The tree (Port.: árvore) is a canting element, the orb usually is an attribute of the Divine Saviour. The base wavy of green and white is representing the Atlantic.
