Shield Argent, in orle a garland of quince branches Vert fruited of the same, in chief a boar's head Sable, in base a chicken Sable, both armed and eyed Gules. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "VILA DA MARMELEIRA".
Meaning:
The garland of quinces (Port.: marmeleiro) is a canting element.

Coat of arms

Shield Azure, a well-building Argent with three fountains between a fleur-de-lis Or in chief and a grapevine Or leaved Argent in base. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials "ASSENTIZ -RIO MAIOR".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Victory, the local patron saint.
