Coat of arms

Shield Azure with base wavy of Argent and Vert, sailing on base a boat Gules rigged Argent, the base is superimposed by a fishnet Sable catching two fish respectant Or, in chief in chief a goshawk volant Or, holding an inescutcheon Azure, charged with five plates in quincunx (quina). Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "RIBEIRA QUENTE"
