Coat of arms

Shield Argent, issuant from base a triplemount Vert charged with three lozenges Or ordered 1:2, in chief two windmill's wheels Sable rigged Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "SERRO VENTOSO".
Meaning:
The lozenges are representing stonecutters, especially the production of marble. The triplemount is representing the local geography and a punning element, because the name of the commune means something like "draughty, or stormy, ridges". The millstones are referring to the local production of cereals.
