Coat of arms

Shield Argent, an inescutcheon Gules charged with a cross fleury Argent voided, in chief a fleur-de-lis Azure, in base two branches of oak Proper. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black initials: "NOSSA SENHORA DA PIEDADE - OURÉM".
Meaning:
The fleur-de-lis is an attribute of Our Lady of Mercy, local patron saint and name giver of the commune.

Nossa Senhora da Piedade Commune is one of the 13 communes of the Ourém municipality (q.v.) and one of the two urban communes of Ourém city; it had 7217 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 20.5 km².
