It is a typical Portuguese communal flag, with the coat of arms centred on a field quartered white over blue. Left image above shows the current version, right image above shows the version reported in 1999

Shield Azure a sailing boat Gules fringed Or with sail Argent over silver-green-silver-green waves, on dexter canton a 5-point star Or. Mural crown with four visible towers Argent (town rank) and a white scroll with inscription in black initials "FUSETA", which replaced the former version described below in 2001.

Mural crown with four visible towers Argent (town rank) and a yellow scroll with inscription in black initials "VILA DA FUSETA" (reported 9 December 1999).
Meaning:
The green waves are symbolising the location on the shores of the Atlantic. The star is an attribute of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, the local patron saint.

Fuseta is one of the five communes of Olhão Municipality. It had 1918 inhabitants in 2011 and covers 0,36 km². Its territory is completely surrounded by that one of Moncarapacho and the sea shore.
