The arms are Vert two pairs of dancing sticks Argent per fess each pair per saltire and tied Or and in chief a representation of a dolmen and in base an oxcar wheel Or garnished Sable. Mural crown argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "SALSELAS.

Salselas Commune is one of the 30 communes of Macedo de Cavaleiros municipality; it had 386 inhabitants in 2001 and covers 36.4 km².
