Coat of arms

Shield Vert with base wavy of Argent and Azure, issuant from base a throughout bridge Argent, masoned Sable having one arch, in chief two bobbins Or set in fess. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "GONDAR - GUIMARÃES".
Meaning:
The base wavy is representing Selho River. The bobbins are representing the local textiles industry.
