Coat of Arms

Shield Purpure a pair of keys in saltire, the bendy one above Or, the sinister bendy one beneath Argent, on dexter chief point an annulet Or, on sinister chief a grape bunch Or leafed Argent, issuant from base a mount Or. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "MARGARIDE – SANTA EULÁLIA".
Meaning:
The keys are the usual attribute of St. Peter, who is however not the local patron saint, who is the name giver. The annulet is blazoned as a bezant, i.e. a golden coin pierced purple, literally in field tincture.

Shield Gules fretty of honeycombs Or, base wavy of Argent and Azure, over all a dragon volant Argent tongued Azure. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "VÁRZEA - FELGUEIRAS".
Meaning:
The dragon is an attribute of St. George, the local patron saint. The base wavy is a representation of the Sousa River.

Meaning:
The arms refer to the most important business lines, viticulture, especially the production of "green wine" (Port.: vinho verde), and the production of shoes.

Meaning:
The orb is an attribute of Jesus Christ, as the Divine Saviour being the local patron saint. The millwheel is alluding to water power and the production of flour in the past, the grape bunches to viticulture.
