Shield Gules a lion rampant Or holding a sword flamant of the same in bend sinister (others display in pale) by his dexter forepaw, orle Argent fleury-counter fleury of wine leafs of the same. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "REFOJOS DE BASTO".
Meaning:
The sword flamant is an attribute of St. Michael, the local patron saint.
