Morreira e Trandeiras United Commune is one of the 37 communes of Braga Municipality; it had 1447 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 4,5 km².

Shield Argent, two mounds Vert between two grindwheels Sable, issuant from base wavy Argent, charged with a bar wavy Azure, in chief scales Gules held by a flame blade sword Azure turned upwards. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case letters "MORREIRA - BRAGA".
Meaning:
"Morreira" can be interpreted to mean "hill country" (from "morro", "hill") and thus the arms are canting. Sword and scales are attributes of St. Michael.

Shield Or, two eradicated pines Vert, a belfry Azure with bells Sable, all charges ordered 2:1. Mural crown Argent with three visible towers (village rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "TRANDEIRAS".
Meaning:
The pines stand for forestal riches, especially of pines and cedars. The belfry is one of the oldest local buildings, the old parish church, dedicated to the Divine Saviour. Furthermore it can be found on the ex-libris of the commune.
