Shield Vert a squeezer Argent, flanked by two collars of olive Or fruited Sable, on chief an embattled tower Argent masoned Sable with port and windows Gules between two goats passant addorsed Or. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll reading in black upper case serifed letters "UNIÃO DAS FREGUESIAS DE BELMONTE E COLMEAL DA TORRE".
Meaning:
The tower is taken from the arms of the former Colmeal da Torre Commune, all other charges from those of the former Belmonte Commune.

Belmonte e Colmeal da Torre is the only commune of Belmonte Municipality created by a merger during the 2013 changes. It had 3543 inhabitants in 2021 and covers 38,3 km².

Belmonte was one of the two communes of Belmonte Municipality affected by the 2013 changes. It had 3183 inhabitants in 2011 and covered 27,9 km².
