Coat of arms

Shield Or, an eradicated chestnut tree Vert fruited Argent, between a colour palette Gules with paintbrush Proper in chief and a triplemount Vert in base. Mural crown Argent with four visible towers (town rank) and white scroll with inscription in black capitals "CHÃO DE COUCE".
