Overview

The flag of Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico consist of a yellow backgound and a blue wavy band. The blue band show a little white stones accross the large of the blue band.The blue band represent the Rio (River) and the white stones symbolises the Piedras (Stones). The yellow field represent the light of the sun, the progress and the future. The City of Rio Piedras is a part of the Municipality of San Juan the capital of Puerto Rico. Rio Piedras have the largest university campus of Puerto Rico  (UPR) and the large shopping center of the island.
