Wolsztyn county flag

Wolsztyn (German: Wollstein) was formerly in Zielonogoskie vojvidship; it is c. 50 km southwest of Poznan. Images of flag and Coat of Arms at this site.
Jarig Bakker, 5 Sept 2000

The flag and Coat of Arms are of Wolsztyn County. The Coat of Arms is a small Coat of Arms of the city (Our Lady) combined with the silver eagle of king Przemysl II (it is the Coat of Arms of Wielkopolskie voivodship).
On the flag, vert stands for forests, azure for lakes.
The author of the Coat of Arms and the flag is Chrystian Gomolec.
Both the flag and the Coat of Arms need yet to be published in voivodship official paper to be made official. So, as you can see this is a fresh matter. Both insignia were adopted by County Council on 22 August 2000.
