Supraśl - urban-rural commune, Białystok County, Podlaskie Voivodship.
Gmina Supraśl is an urban-rural gmina (commune) in Białystok County, Podlaskie Voivodship, in north-eastern Poland.
Its seat is the town of Supraśl, which lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north-east of the regional capital Białystok.
The commune covers an area of 187.96 square kilometres (72.6 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 12,780 (out of which the population of Supraśl amounts to 4,578, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 8,202).
The commune contains part of the protected area called Puszcza Knyszyńska Landscape Park.

Supraśl is a town in north-eastern Poland. It is the home of the Supraśl Lavra, one of only six Eastern Orthodox monasteries for males in Poland. Situated in the Podlaskie Voivodship (since 1999),  Its population numbers 4,526 (2004).
The Codex of Supraśl, the oldest Slavic literary work in Poland and one of the oldest of its kind in the world, is named after the Supraśl Lavra. As of September 20th, 2007 it is on Unesco's Memory of the World list.

Arms adopted on June 27, 1990 (resolution # IV/12/90).
Flag adopted on December 14, 2007 (resolution # XIII/134/07).

Arms: on a white shield the scene of Annunciation - Archangel Gabriel and Virgin Mary.

Flag: Ratio 5:8. Proportions of the red triangles are:
* length of the right-angled triangle is 8 out of proportions 5:8
* second length of the right-angled triangle is 3 out of proportions 5:8
Second, lower triangle is just an inversion of the upper one.
The white diagonal band between the red triangles bears the Coat of Arms of Supraśl.
The flag was designed by the local artist, Mr.Grzegorz Łoś."
