Blazon: På sølv bunn tre røde vasshjul, to over ett.
In English: Argent three waterwheels gules.
Approved by the royal resolution of 25 May 1973 after a drawing by Odd Fjordholm. [c2j87]
The waterwheels symbolises the water power that had importance in the municipality in the past, previously for the corn mills, and in the modern times for the electrical power. Three wheels were chosen to differentiate from Lørenskog that already had a single wheel.
