The coat of arms of Huachinera was adopted by the council on 5 December 1992, being designed by Municipal Chronicler Jesús Manuel Castillo and Ramón Medina Tona by agreement of the council. At the top of the shield, the words "MESA DE LA HUATA SAGRADA" are depicted, the etymology of the municipal name. It refers to a tree from which the natives extracted frankincense. Just above this, a tree is depicted, clearly referencing that fact. The inner part of the shield is divided into 3 triangles. The first is divided in green over blue, and depicts the logging industry. The second triangle, in white, depicts the cattle-raising industry. The third, divided in orange over brown with wavy lines, depicts the harvest of wheat and corn on the municipality's soil. Finally, just below the inner section the municipal and state name are read.
