About the flag

The flag of the Şoldăneşti district was approved by the district council on February 15, 2007 (approved by the National Heraldry Commission on April 27, 2007). On a green cloth there is a silver jumping hare between two golden ears of corn. The author of the flag is S. Andriesh-Tabac, the artist is Yuri Kaminsky.

The materials of the book "SIMBOLURILE NATIONALE ALE REPUBLICII MOLDOVA" were used

The flag was published in the "Monitorul Oficial al Republicii Moldova" 2015. Anul XXII, 6 March.

Sămășcani Village

According to the Presidential Decree (which can be viewed here), it decrees that the symbols of Sămășcani are registered in the General Armory of the Republic of Moldova. The symbols were approved by Sămășcani Village Council Decision no. 6/7 of September 11, 2023.

As per the description, it is as follows: The flag is a square cloth, 4/6 of it being red, one sixth of it being white and blue respectively, bearing in the middle a cross fleury in yellow surmounting a white crescent, in the sinister canton area of the cross being a star with six rays, also in white, and flanked by a yellow hunting horn on each side with white accessories, the latter outlined.

Description of the coat of arms is as follows: On a red field, a stone bridge with two arches, of gold, accompanied under each arch by a heraldic spring and surmounted by a cross fleury above a silver crescent, in the sinister canton area of the cross being a star with six rays, also of silver, and flanked by both sides a hunting horn in gold with silver accessories, the second outlined. A golden crown rests on the shield.
