A possible flag of the "Soldiers of the Lord" organization; Beirut,
Lebanon, c. 2020.As one commentator wrote, "taking the cross as a slogan, and
the sacred Christian texts as a constitution," they call themselves "Junud
al-Rabb" ("the Soldiers of the Lord"), with a white shield with a red cross and
cross-marked angel's wings before an open Bible. The unarmed Christian-oriented
group includes Maronites, other Catholics, Eastern Orthodox, Assyrian
Christians, and Armenians.
