The city emblem was adopted on Jul 12th 2005 by Notice No 203 but there is no
flag law. The white flag has a green, a yellow and an orange three color city
emblem in the center. The city emblem is a stylized katakana ア A of Asago. The
orange circle symbolizes an interchange of the people, the orange and yellow
color do the sun rays. It represents an image of morning sun rising from four
towns and a green mountain.
