The town emblem was adopted on Apr 1st 1978 but there is no flag law. The maroon flag has a yellow town emblem in the center. The town emblem is a stylized hiragana 木 Ki of Kisosaki in a form of a flying bird and waves. It represents a reconciliation and a solidarity of the town, a development of an industrial culture and a powerful future of the town.
