The Flag

The city flag was adopted on Oct 1st 2007 by the Notice No 50. The white flag charged with the city emblem of red, green and blue. The flag proportion 47 : 67. The city emblem is stylized kanji 東 HIGASHI. It represents beautiful scene which surrounds the city, the city which sends culture and information and the civic hearts which are connected by a big ring.
